Shaurya volunteers create ‘Fruit Zone’ in Nalkoor forest; fruit trees planted for animals

Following the concept of Poojya Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, the Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, the Shaurya Disaster Management volunteers organized a program to plant fruit trees for animals in the forest.

In the Kuntumaya forest area of Nalkoor village, saplings of forest fruits were planted. More than 500 plants including jamun, mango, jackfruit, punarpuli, rambutan, butter fruit, and guava were planted.
The program was inaugurated by Sri Mitradeva Madappadi, the President of the Janajagruthi Vedike, Guttigaru Zone, by planting a sapling.

Gram Panchayat member Sri Vijayakumar Charmata, Forest Guard Sri Basappa, Federation Presidents Sri Keshraj Hosolike, Lohith Chemnur, Taluk Agriculture Officer Sri Ramesh, Guttigaru Zone Supervisor Rajesh, and other members were present.

Volunteers of the Nalkoor Shaurya unit, including Lohith, Karunakara, Nalinakshi, Ashwath, Jayashree, Satish, Bhavani, Chandrashekara, Prajwal, Karthik, Bharath, Chandrika, Deepak, and Harishchandra, participated in the voluntary service and planted the saplings
